Now that I copied boot.3dsx and the rest of starter.zip to the New 3DS' card, stickerhax is working fine. I was kind of an idiot and didn't realize that I also had to prepare the micro SD card on the target New 3DS system before stickerhax will work. I also tried oot3dhax which was bundled in the same starter.zip file but that one just crashes OOT3D ('an error has occurred') once I load the save and go into a menu.Įdit: Just so I'm clear, should it be possible to hack an OOT or Sticker Star save file on an old 3DS XL for use on a New 3DS XL?Įdit edit: FIGURED IT OUT WITH HELP FROM THE INTERNET: This hack is pretty much automated so I'm not sure what I can do to fix it. I see the Homebrew Launcher's loading sequence but it never finishes It invariably hangs with a black screen on top and a dark red screen on the bottom. Then I move the Sticker Star cart over to my New 3DS XL and load the hacked save file.

The program downloads the payload and it says it was successfully installed. I load sploit_installer-stickerhax from the Homebrew Launcher, it properly detects my Sticker Star cart and I configure the installer for New 3DS 11.0.0-33 USA (since that's what my New 3DS is running). Now that I have an old 3DS XL on CFW, I tried stickerhax, which was bundled in the starter.zip file here: Ah, I got ahead of myself and tried getting the Homebrew Launcher on my New 3DS XL (11.0.0-33U).
